Actually, the weird critter shown here (no, not the elephant) is the famous Ymir from the planet Venus, from the movie 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957).
The Ymir is my personal favorite Harryhausen creation. The poor thing is one of the most put-upon and sympathetic creatures in movie monster history.
Don't worry, the elephant in the image isn't real. It's a Harryhausen creation, just like the Ymir.
