I've decided I like the Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday schedule of posting, so I think I will stick with it for awhile. Hopefully I will actually know what day of the week it is.
Yesterday I got to spend some time with my family, fairly up close and personal. We visited outside and practiced social distancing, but being able to actually see them and talk to them was wonderful. It made it seem like the first almost normal day in a long time.
I picked up my order from the garden center in the morning. I had ordered it online last Tuesday and it took awhile for my name to come up in the queue.
I ordered flowers for my youngest daughter who is quarantined for the long haul because of her health status, and I wanted her to be able to go out and sit on her front porch and enjoy some pretty flowers. I left them for her to plant. She is an artist so I know she will arrange them better than I could.
She stayed up on her porch while I sat down on the stone wall in her front yard, and we were able to have a nice chat. I wore my mask just in case, but we were far enough apart for it not to be a problem.
After I left her house I swung by my other daughter's house which is just a few blocks away.
First thing I had to do was look at the baby ducks. Tessa had made sure they were in the front yard so I could see them in person. They were so adorable. They have grown since I saw them online, but still pretty small.
Tessa has so much energy and I know it is hard for her to not be out running around all of the time. I watched her play hopscotch, while I talked a little with the older two kids and my daughter on the front porch. My daughter pulled a chair away from them for me to sit on, but we were still close enough to talk easily.
